These heavy weight chess pieces are some of the higher quality Isle of Lewis replicas as they are made from crushed marble bonded with a high quality resin. They are made in England by Mascott Direct and are the only Isle of Lewis chess piece sets made in this country.
The pieces are replicas of the originals which were discovered on the Isle of Lewis off the West Coast of Scotland and which are now housed safely and securely in the British Museum of London and in Edinburgh.
